exercising my right as an american citizen

a milestone: my first time voting.
this highly regarded, big honor process isn't exactly all it's cracked up to be. to my extreme embarrassment, after filling out the voter registration card wrong not once, but twice, i went to my special cubicle of secrecy to fill in the bubbles (suprisingly) without a number 2 pencil after forgetting to collect my ballot. i had to wait for someone to be finished voting so i could follow them to know where to hand it in. i guess the polls aren't very "first time friendly."
